Atletico Madrid’s Julián Alvarez open to PSG move, but… | OneFootball

Julián Alvarez (25) revealed earlier this month, in an interview with France Football, that he could have joined Paris Saint-Germain. At the time of his move to Atlético de Madrid back in 2024, the Argentina international revealed that there were also talks with PSG’s representatives.

But PSG’s interest remains. As per a report from Sacha Tavolieri, Luis Enrique is a big fan of the former Manchester City forward, who is having another excellent campaign in La Liga. Les Parisiens have been considering the recruitment of a striker in recent weeks, and Alvarez would be interested in a move to the Parc des Princes, Tavolieri understands. Whilst there is also interest from the Premier League, he is not planning on a return to England.

Whilst finding an agreement with Alvarez may not be difficult, finding an agreement with Atlético de Madrid may be. The Spanish side’s current valuation is €120m, which PSG believe is too high.
