Coach Eduardo Domínguez will need to reshape the starting lineup due to the FIFA international break, as well as injury-related and contractual absences. The defense and midfield are the most affected areas: four players were called up to senior national teams (Castaño for Colombia; Alan Franco, Alan Minda, and Preciado for Ecuador), in addition to Vitão and Pascini with the Under-20 national team.
