Atlético Madrid star José María Giménez on Wednesday sent a clear message to all associated with the club, regarding his ongoing commitment to the cause in Spain’s capital.

This comes after the Uruguayan was responsible for a moment to remember on the continent.

Atlético were back in action a short time ago, welcoming Serie A giants Inter Milan to the Metropolitano for a Champions League clash.

After proceedings rolled into injury time, the spoils looked set to be shared, with the scoreline locked at 1-1.

Upon a corner being whipped into the visitors’ penalty area, however, Giménez rose highest to direct home a brilliant header, securing all three points for Atléti in the process.

And as alluded to above, upon the dust settling on his winner, the defender made clear his undying love for all things Rojiblanco.
