Marseille beat Lyon 3-2 at the Vélodrome as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang struck late, keeping the hosts fourth in Ligue 1.
Corentin Tolisso opened the scoring for Les Gones in the third minute after Endrick's pass. After the restart, substitute Igor Paixão levelled (52.) with a precise strike into the top right, created by Pierre-Emile Højbjerg.
Rémi Himbert restored the visitors' lead (76.) on the counter from Endrick's through ball, but Aubameyang swept in an equaliser (81.) from Paixão's centre.
Aubameyang then decided the game in the first minute of second half stoppage time, tapping in from close range after Ethan Nwaneri led a fast break.
Gerónimo Rulli produced important stops before the interval, notably thwarting Endrick, while Dominik Greif was increasingly busy as Les Phocéens pressed.
Les Phocéens registered 18 attempts, seven on target, with 52% of the ball. Les Gones posted 12 attempts, six on target.
Next, Les Phocéens host Toulouse in the Coupe de France. Les Gones host Lens in the Coupe de France.
