Augsburg complete signing of Nigerian forward

FC Augsburg have signed Nigerian forward Uchenna from Alanyaspor on a contract until 2031, completing the move just before the winter window closed.

According to BuLi News, the deal is worth around €4.5 million.

Sporting director Benni Weber said the forward’s pace, dynamism and willingness to run in behind suit Augsburg’s style and add variety to their attack.

The 19-year-old scored three goals in 20 appearances for Alanyaspor.

He described the transfer as a major opportunity to prove himself in one of the best leagues. He aims to settle quickly, learn and show his qualities, and is eager to make his debut at the WWK ARENA.
