Augsburg have signed 26-year-old centre-back Calvin Brackelmann from newly promoted Bundesliga club Paderborn.
The club said he joins on a free transfer and has agreed a contract until 2030.

Sporting director Benni Weber welcomed the move, highlighting Brackelmann's pace, height and power, and describing him as a strong fit for FCA's philosophy.
Early talks convinced Brackelmann that Augsburg was the right step, and he wants to settle quickly to help the team next season.
He made 63 appearances for Paderborn before the switch.
