Augsburg ‘to sign’ Hoffenheim left-back Hennes Behrens

Sky Germany reports that Augsburg have agreed a deal to sign Hoffenheim left-back Hennes Behrens, 21, on a permanent transfer.

The package is €3.5 million plus €1 million in bonuses, and Hoffenheim have included a 10 percent sell-on clause.

Behrens has agreed a contract running to 2031, with official confirmation expected in the near future.

After a January loan move, he spent the second half of last season at Heidenheim.

He made 16 appearances, scoring one goal and providing two assists for a team that were relegated from the Bundesliga.
