August 13, the day that marked the beginning of a special chapter for Chivas Femenil | OneFootball

There are days we remember with great fondness, not necessarily because of a specific achievement, but because they mark the beginning of something that brings us joy to this day. August 13 became one of those days for Chivas Femenil, which five years ago saw the start of a new chapter in its history.

We are, of course, referring to the debut of two of the Rojiblancas' standard-bearers, who made their debut in the 4-0 victory over FC Juárez in the 2020 Apertura: Alicia Cervantes and Carolina Jaramillo donned the Red and White jersey for the first time.

Both historic members of the Rebaño showed their quality from the first minute at the Olímpico Benito Juárez. First, the 'Comandante' contributed to the opening goal with a set piece that hit the post and caused Melissa Sosa to score an own goal.

Then it was the 'Predator' who raised her hand to inaugurate her scoring history with Chivas Femenil. In the 34th and 49th minutes, she scored her first goals, first by crossing the goalkeeper and then with a header inside the area that sealed the victory for Guadalajara.
