An incident in the stands interrupted the Europa Conference League final between Crystal Palace and Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday night in Leipzig.
Rayo goalkeeper Augusto Batalla appeared to feign injury to draw the referee’s attention, then pointed towards the Rayo end behind his goal to signal the problem.

Play was halted for about three minutes. According to Canal+, a spectator had fallen on a staircase.
No evacuation was required and the situation was dealt with quickly.
The match resumed shortly afterwards.
