Inter Milan veteran Marko Arnautovic confirmed the team’s bid to win a coveted treble for the second time in club history.
Speaking to Sport Mediaset via FCInterNews, the Austria captain reiterated Nerazzurri’s lofty ambitions.
Marko Arnautovic of all people knows the feeling of winning the treble.
Indeed, he was part of the all-conquering team that won everything under Jose Mourinho in 2020.
Though he was only a teenager and low in the pecking order, he took the honors home while on loan from Twente.
Fast forward 15 years and Arnautovic’s career is drawing to a close.
At 35, he has set one foot in retirement and probably won’t wear the Nerazzurri shirt next season.
With his contract running out in June, Arnautovic will wave goodbye to the San Siro for the second time this summer.
However, he wants to ride into the sunset in style.

The former Bologna striker chipped in with an assist last night as Austria drew 1-1 with Serbia in the Nations League.
After the game, Arnautovic talked to the press, reiterating his love for Inter.
“I’m in great form, and yes, I’m always ready to help Inter, which is the team of my heart,” he said.
“Every time I’m called upon, I’m ready and give 100%, even 120%.
“Starting from the first minute is great, but I hope my teammates recover soon because we need everyone’s help.”
Meanwhile, he couldn’t avoid the ‘treble’ topic in his latest interview.
“I’m not someone who talks about the Treble,” he added. “I take it game by game.
“First, I’ll play against Serbia, then Udinese. We’ll see.
“I can’t talk about the Treble, that’s just not me.
“I already won it with Inter as a fan, but now I’m playing more and trying to give everything for this team.”
Asked whether Inter can make it through, he replied: “Absolutely.”
