With 14 goals and three assists in Ligue 2 this season, Rodez’s Taïryk Arconte (22) is attracting a lot of interest. But this is hardly surprising given the performances of the Guadeloupe international (seven caps, three goals), a key player in the RAF’s fifth-place finish in the second tier of French football at the end of the 2025-26 term.
Under contract with the Aveyron-based side until 2028, the striker is reportedly, according to Foot Mercato, on the radar of AJ Auxerre, who are already looking for a replacement for Lassine Sinayoko (26), whose future appears to lie in the Premier League. But the Burgundy club are reportedly not the only one interested in the Abymes-born player, who is also being tracked by Championship side Millwall and Celtic, the recently crowned Scottish champions.
A range of options, each more appealing than the last, for a player who now seems ready to take his career to the next level – whether in France or abroad.
