Auxerre host Strasbourg in Ligue 1 on Saturday, 7 March 2026 at Stade de l'Abbé Deschamps, with the visitors eyeing the top half and the hosts trying to climb clear of the relegation play-offs.

Strasbourg beat Auxerre 3-0 in October and arrive eighth on 35 points, while Auxerre are 16th with 18 and in the relegation play-off place.

Le Racing's recent run features a 3-1 win over Lyon, a 1-1 draw with Lens and a Coupe de France victory against Reims. Auxerre have taken points at Lorient (2-2) and Toulouse (0-0), won 3-1 at Metz, but lost 3-0 at home to Rennes.

Auxerre list Romain Faivre, Oussama El Azzouzi, Lasso Coulibaly, Telli Siwe and Tidiane Devernois as injured. Le Racing are without Emanuel Emegha, Diego Moreira and Aaron Anselmino.

Strasbourg's attack has been productive, scoring 40 league goals at 1.7 per game with 87.88% passing accuracy. Joaquín Panichelli is joint first in the Ligue 1 scoring chart with 14 goals, while Martial Godo has seven and service has come from Guéla Doué (five assists) and Valentín Barco (four). Auxerre average 0.8 goals per game, have five clean sheets, and could look to Lassine Sinayoko, who has six league goals, and Danny Namaso to threaten in transition.

A home win would lift Auxerre to 21 points and could ease the pressure in the survival battle. Victory for Le Racing would move them to 38 points and may improve on eighth, keeping them in touch with the European places.
