Avaí begin preparations for Vila Nova clash

Avaí returned to training on Tuesday afternoon (12) after a 0-0 draw against Fortaleza. Leão da Ilha trained at the CFA field with full focus on its next Série B challenge, against Vila Nova away from home.

Head coach Cauan de Almeida worked with the full squad. Only the players currently in the medical department did not take part on the field. Avaí sits in 12th place with 10 points and will face the Goiás-based team on Sunday (17) at 6 p.m. at Estádio Onésio Brasileiro Alvarenga (OBA).
