Avaí directors visit school attended by academy players

Last Thursday, representatives from Avaí visited EEB Ildefonso Linhares, where several athletes from the Lion’s youth academy study. The initiative reinforces the Club’s commitment to the well-rounded development of the young players of the Youth Academy, ensuring that educational growth goes hand in hand with development on the field. During the visit, the directors were able to speak with the academic coordinators, teachers, and the students themselves, closely following the school performance and behavior of the Lion’s future talents. “For Avaí, it is essential to align sport with education. We want to develop people, not just athletes,” says vice president Carlos Schmidt.
