On September 1, 1923, a club was born that would become a symbol of grit, tradition, and love for football in Santa Catarina. On September 1, 2026, Avaí Futebol Clube celebrates a 103-year history filled with unforgettable moments.

Over more than a century, the Lion of the Island has built a legacy of achievements that fills its huge fan base—the largest in Santa Catarina—with pride. Avaí is the club with the most Santa Catarina state titles, with 19 championships. It is also proud of a Brazilian Série C title and dozens of other achievements—among the most recent are the South-Southeast Cup and the Santa Catarina Recopa. The club also made international history, representing Santa Catarina in the Copa Sudamericana, taking the name of Santa Catarina Island beyond the country’s borders, and putting together memorable campaigns on the national stage, such as earning promotion to Série A on several occasions.

At our home, Ressacada, the Avaí supporters turn passion into a celebration, pushing the team on in moments of glory and also in times of difficulty. Memorable celebrations, such as Ressacada On-fire, receptions for the players, and 3D mosaics with fireworks, light up the biggest and most decisive matches. Together, team and fans, we are stronger, and that is how we achieve great results together.

Off the pitch, the Club continues its restructuring. With calm, seriousness, and great dedication, it is building the foundations for a sustainable future. Reaching 103 years is not just about looking back and celebrating. It is also about planning the future. We keep working to raise Avaí to the level it deserves to be at!

Avaí remains firmly committed to growing more and more, strengthening its youth academy, pursuing new achievements, and keeping alive the spirit of always fighting for more and more success!

Congratulations, Avaí!

103 years of achievements, glory, and so much love!
