Avaí sign Corinthians prospect Lucas Molina on loan with option to buy | OneFootball

Avaí have signed Corinthians midfielder Lucas Molina, 19, on a one-year loan, with an option to buy at the end of the deal. He has a domestic release clause of R$ 30 million and a €50 million clause for foreign clubs, around R$ 296.5 million.

According to TMC, a permanent deal would be executed if Avaí purchase 30% of the player’s economic rights, with Corinthians retaining 70%.

In 2025, after only three outings for Corinthians’ under-20s, Molina extended his contract with Corinthians until December 2028.

He has been at Corinthians since the age of five. Across the 2023 and 2024 under-17 campaigns he made 60 appearances and scored 10 goals.

The step up to under-20 level limited his minutes. He played three times in 2025 and has also featured only three times this year, totalling 21 minutes in the current season.
