Avaí start preparations for Vila Nova clash

Avaí returned to training on Tuesday afternoon (12) after a 0-0 draw against Fortaleza. Leão da Ilha trained on the CFA pitch with full focus already on their next Série B challenge, against Vila Nova away from home.

Head coach Cauan de Almeida worked with the full squad. Only the players currently in the medical department did not take part on the field. Avaí sit in 12th place with 10 points and will face the Goiás side on Sunday (17) at 6 p.m. at Estádio Onésio Brasileiro Alvarenga (OBA).
