Axel Disasi's future at Chelsea appears increasingly uncertain, with a January departure now seeming the most likely resolution for the Franco-Congolese defender. Currently out of favor and yet to feature for the Blues this season, his time at Stamford Bridge looks to be drawing to a close.
This situation has not gone unnoticed across Europe, sparking significant interest in the 27-year-old. French club Olympique Lyonnais has already made initial contact, but they face stiff competition. According to reports from CaughtOffside, a host of European sides are preparing moves for Disasi when the transfer window opens.
German giants Borussia Dortmund, potentially seeking a replacement for Nico Schlotterbeck, are keen on his profile. They are joined by Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray, Italian stalwarts Juventus, and Premier League rivals Newcastle and West Ham, all closely monitoring his availability.
The nature of a potential deal varies among suitors. The English clubs, Newcastle and West Ham, are reportedly considering a straight cash transfer for the Gonesse-born player, whose market value is estimated at €18 million. Other contenders, however, are leaning towards a loan move with an option to buy—a structure that could suit all parties as Disasi seeks regular playing time.
With his current Chelsea contract running until June 2029 and an annual salary of just over €4.8 million, the coming weeks will be decisive in determining where the next chapter of his career begins.
