Axel Disasi has joined Crystal Palace on loan from Chelsea for the 2026-27 season, his third Premier League loan. According to L'Équipe, the move was finalised on Wednesday.

The France defender had previously left Chelsea on winter loans, first to Aston Villa in 2025, then to West Ham last season. This time he departs during the summer window.

Disasi, 28, remains under contract at Chelsea until 2029. He did not make an appearance last season and is not in the club’s plans.

He arrives from a positive six-month spell at West Ham, where he featured in 14 Premier League matches, although the club were relegated to the Championship.

At Crystal Palace he will work under Pierre Sage, with the move helping cover the departure of Maxence Lacroix, who has been signed by Chelsea for nearly 60 million euros.

Disasi said he was very happy and felt the club had moved in the right direction, making it the right place for him to continue.
