Backed by the fans, Avaí beat Sport-PE in Série B's 23rd round

On Wednesday night (19), Avaí faced Sport-PE in a match valid for the 23rd round of the 2026 Brazilian Série B Championship. Avaí won 2-1, with goals from Del Piage and Léo Gamalho for Avaí, and Diego Hernández for Sport-PE.
