The 21-year-old Frenchman moves on loan to English top-flight club Leeds United FC, who have an option to buy at the end of the season.

Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed to loan Jean-Mattéo Bahoya to Leeds United until the end of the 2026/27 season. The Premier League club have agreed an option to buy with Eintracht, which could see Bahoya join Leeds on a permanent basis at the end of the campaign.

Bahoya was handed his Eagles debut shortly after joining the club from French side Angers SCO in January 2024. The attacking midfielder has played 78 competitive games for the Eagles, including 17 in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League. He has registered seven goals and eight assists for Frankfurt in all competitions.

“Jean-Mattéo Bahoya has developed really well at Eintracht Frankfurt and gradually established himself as a player of international calibre,” said sporting director Timmo Hardung. “The move to Leeds marks a new chapter in his career. We would like to thank him for his efforts and commitment and wish him all the best for the future.”
