Baila, Vini trial 'to be held' on 17 February in Valencia | OneFootball

The trial over the documentary Baila, Vini is scheduled for 17 February in Valencia, Radio Valencia Cadena SER reports.

Valencia filed a lawsuit a year ago, which was admitted by the court, seeking financial compensation for an alleged intrusion into its honour and a correction to the film, produced by Conspiraçao Films and streamed by Netflix.

The club is demanding changes to subtitles it describes in its claim as manipulated and false.

The captions in question accompany footage from the Mestalla stands on 21 May 2023 during Valencia against Real Madrid, where the audio has chants of "tonto, tonto" while the subtitles show "mono, mono".

The same images were also posted on the Brazilian forward’s social media.
