Leon Bailey’s father and agent posted a video reassuring Roma fans that the former Aston Villa man will be ready to take them to ‘heights no one dreamed possible.’
The attacking wide man has not played a single minute of football for the Giallorossi, as he suffered a serious muscular injury in his very first training session.
He is expected back for coach Gian Piero Gasperini after the break for international duty, with supporters eager to see what the Jamaica international can bring to Serie A.

Meanwhile, his father and agent Craig Butler has promised Bailey will be ready to deliver in the Giallorossi jersey.
“Soon the return of the relentless pursuit of excellence,” wrote Butler on Instagram.
“Leon will soon be back on that pitch delivering for AS Roma and making Roma reach again to heights no one dreamed possible.
“I believe and I know my son. Watch. Go get them chips.”

The 28-year-old arrived from Aston Villa on August 20, completing a loan at a cost of €3m.
There is an option to make that loan permanent at the end of the season for a further €20m plus €2m in add-ons.
Meanwhile, Roma are top of the Serie A table alongside Napoli, the first time they have been up there after six rounds in 11 years.
