Roma midfielder Tommaso Baldanzi spoke to DAZN a few minutes after the team picked up a win over Fiorentina.

“I feel central to the team like all the players. There will be room for everyone given the many matches we have on our schedule,” he said.

“Today was a tough match to win; we fought hard and won on a difficult pitch. We’re very happy.”

“Gasperini asks me to defend and attack, and I’m very happy with it. We have a lot of strong attacking players, so it’s right to sacrifice defense if you want to be part of such a strong team. We have to keep going like this and do our best to stay up there.”

“The standings mean very little right now. We have to try to stay up there at the end and right now. That’s better, but we have to work harder and improve more and more to try to stay there. That’s the hardest thing.”
