With just over a month to go until the winter transfer window opens, Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma will be making both incoming and outgoing moves to make the squad even more competitive and try to fight for the top spots.
While fans are eager for potential new signings, they also need to keep an eye on those players who haven’t had much playing time so far.
Among them is undoubtedly Tommaso Baldanzi.
The former Empoli midfielder, who arrived in the capital in the 2023 winter transfer window, has made 50 league appearances for Roma so far. Last summer, Hellas Verona had been keenly pursuing the 2003-born midfielder, and negotiations seemed to be progressing well, only to come to a screeching halt in the closing stages.
Now, as reported by Il Messaggero, Verona could be back on the offensive, and Trigoria could be open to a loan deal to give the number 35 the chance to earn more playing time.
