Frederic Massara is working on several fronts to satisfy Gian Piero Gasperini’s requests.

Roma is close to signing Giacomo Raspadori, while Tommaso Baldanzi is the closest to being sold: as reported by Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, the two deals are linked.

The Roman club is currently awaiting Raspadori’s approval.

The deal is effectively closed: an agreement has been reached with Atletico Madrid and his entourage, but the player hasn’t yet closed the deal because he’d like to stay in Spain, having recently moved.

This matter is closely tied to Baldanzi’s future: once Jack gives the green light, the attacking midfielder will be free to choose his destination.

Fiorentina currently leads the race for the 2003-born player.

However, the player is also being pursued by Daniele De Rossi’s Genoa, who has coached him and knows him well, and the final decision rests with him, provided Roma accepts the terms proposed by both clubs.
