Ousmane Dembélé was crowned Ballon d'Or 2025 this Monday, September 22, at the Théâtre du Châtelet. Just hours after the ceremony, his mother Fatimata spoke out to express her pride and announced an African tour.
According to the mother of the Parisian forward, the trophy will be showcased in several countries. This statement was made in a video shared on social media. Fatimata Dembélé called this award the Ballon d'Or for all of Africa.
"We're going to take it everywhere, Wally, Senegal. This is the Ballon d'Or for all of Africa."
