Needing to win today to go back to the top of LaLiga, Barcelona fans might have pinned their hopes on Europe's most lethal front three of Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha to do the business.
Instead, their opening two goals have come from the most unlikely of sources.
Their chances of a win became all the more likely when Sociedad defender Aritz Elustondo was sent off in the 17th minute, but they still had to hit the back of the net.
It took them eight minutes after the dismissal to do so, and the second followed just four minutes later, and from two men who had not only never scored for Barça, but never in their professional careers.
It appears as if Hansi Flick's goal-crazy side has got two more threats out of nowhere.
