FC Barcelona Femení will face Arsenal in the League Phase of the 2026/27 UEFA Women’s Champions League, setting up a rematch of the competition’s 2024/25 final.
The North London side, led by Renée Slegers, emerged victorious on that day in Lisbon thanks to a Stina Blackstenius strike in the second half.
Barcelona regained their European crown last season with an emphatic 4-0 victory over OL Lyonnes in Oslo, and will be looking to secure a fifth title in Warsaw next May.
On Friday, Barça learnt their League Phase opponents at a draw in Nyon.
They will face away trips to Bayern Munich, AS Roma and Denmark’s HB Køge, while they will welcome Arsenal, Paris FC and Switzerland’s Serviette FCCF to Catalunya.
UEFA will confirm exact fixture dates in due course.
Speaking from the draw in Nyon, Xavi Puig, the club’s director of women’s football, noted: “There are great teams, great opponents and they all want to win. We’re Barça and our objective, as always, will be to compete, to win and to try and lift the Champions League again.
“It is a privilege to be able to defend this title,” he added.
