Barcelona will play their final game of what has been an extremely successful 2024/25 season tomorrow when they take on Athletic Club in La Liga away at San Mames.
Ahead of the trip to the Basque country, Hansi Flick convened his players at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper for the final training session before the game.
Interestingly, as confirmed by journalist Alex Pintanel, teenage prospects Juan Hernandez and Pedro Fernandez have once again been called up to train with the senior team by Hansi Flick.
The Barça Juvenil A duo were asked to train with the first-team players by the German tactician during Friday’s session as well and are working under his orders again today.
As such, there may be a possibility that one or both of them are called up to the squad that will travel to Bilbao for the final league game of the season.
Both Juan Hernandez and Pedro Hernandez are attacking midfielders who can also operate on the left flank.
The pair were part of the successful Juvenil A team that won the treble, including the UEFA Youth League, this season under the tutelage of Juliano Belletti.
It remains to be seen if one or both of them make it to the squad list for tomorrow’s trip to the Basque country.
Meanwhile, Ronald Araujo continued to train normally after missing the Villarreal game due to knee problem and is expected to be available tomorrow.
Jules Kounde, Marc Bernal, and Ferran Torres are the three confirmed absentees as things stand.
