Barcelona seem to be keeping a very keen eye on players in the Bundesliga as they formulate their plans for future transfer windows.

As already established, the Blaugrana have established stars in the German top flight, such as Harry Kane and Dayot Upamecano of Bayern Munich, and Nico Schlotterbeck and Serhou Guirassy of Borussia Dortmund on their radars.

Meanwhile, teenage prodigy Yan Diomande, who plays for RB Leipzig, has seemingly caught the attention of the Catalans’ boss, Hansi Flick.

Now, it appears that another player from the RB Leipzig squad has forced Barça to take note of his potential.

Assan Ouedraogo scouted by Barcelona

Indeed, according to Sport BILD, Barcelona are among some of the top clubs in Europe, who recently watched RB Leipzig midfield prodigy Assan Ouedraogo in action.

Along with the Blaugrana, Premier League heavyweights Arsenal and Liverpool also scouted the 19-year-old German ace.

Ouedraogo is a product of the Schalke youth academy. Having broken into the first-team setup and made 17 appearances, the youngster was snapped up by Leipzig in the summer of 2024.

Injury issues meant that the youngster barely played in his debut season for the Saxony-based outfit, but having returned to full fitness this term, he has become a key player in the team.

So far in 2025/26, Ouedraogo has made 12 appearances in all competitions, contributing three goals and four assists.

Capable of playing in a multitude of roles in midfield, the youngster has also made his debut for the German national team and is held in the highest regard in the country.

As such, Ouedraogo’s talents have alerted clubs such as Barcelona, Arsenal, and Liverpool, all of whom recently watched him live in action.

The 19-year-old starlet’s current market value is €10 million, but RB Leipzig expect a transfer fee of around €100 million for their player due to his rapid development and a contract that runs until 2029.
