Two of Spanish football’s leading clubs are expressing an interest in a member of the first-team setup at Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
That’s according to French football insider Fabrice Hawkins, who points towards Danilo Pereira as the player in question.
Barcelona and Atlético Madrid are both understood to be on the lookout for reinforcements through the middle of the park ahead of Friday’s Spanish transfer deadline.
Not only that, but the two sides have also been linked with moves for both central midfielders, and defenders.
Danilo, capable of lining out in either role, has in turn today been named as a target on the part of the boards at the Camp Nou and Wanda Metropolitano alike.
Little further information is provided, when it comes to fee or the willingness of PSG to engage in negotiations.
Portuguese giants Porto, meanwhile, have also positioned themselves in the race for the 32-year-old.
