Barcelona back on top, Arsenal respond, Inter keep winning

Barcelona hit the summit, Arsenal steadied in a fiery north London derby, and Inter marched on. According to Le Progres, these were the weekend’s headline results.
At Camp Nou on Sunday, Barcelona beat promoted Levante 3-0 to reclaim first place after Real Madrid lost 2-1 at Osasuna on Saturday.
Marc Bernal struck on four minutes from Eric Garcia’s cross, then captain Frenkie de Jong doubled the lead on 32 from Joao Cancelo’s pass. Substitute Fermin Lopez thumped a left-footed strike on 81. Barcelona sit first on 61 points, Levante 19th on 18.
Arsenal won 4-1 at Tottenham after two disappointing league draws. Eberechi Eze opened the scoring from Bukayo Saka’s pass on 32, only for Randal Kolo Muani to equalise on 34.
Viktor Gyökeres restored the lead on 47, and Kolo Muani had a second ruled out for a foul on Gabriel on 53. Eze made it 3-1 on 60 after more Saka invention, then Gyökeres added a fourth on 90+4. Arsenal lead on 61 points, five clear of Manchester City, who have a game in hand.
In Serie A, Inter won 2-0 at Lecce after Wednesday’s 3-1 loss at Bodo Glimt in the Champions League play-off first leg. A Di Marco finish was ruled out for offside on 53, before Henrikh Mkhitaryan on 75 and Manuel Akanji on 82, both from corners, secured the points. Napoli lost 2-1 at Atalanta, and Milan fell 1-0 at home to Parma to sit 10 points back.
