Legendary Brazilian striker Romario brought excitement to FC Barcelona fans as he took part in the club’s 125th-anniversary celebrations.

Romario expressed his admiration for the strength of the current Barcelona squad, highlighting their impressive performances this season.
He conveyed optimism about their prospects, believing that the team has what it takes to secure championship glory this year. His words echoed the faith and passion that fans around the world feel for Barcelona.
“I’m not usually much of a football fan, but when Barça is mentioned, you can’t help but pay attention. Barça now have a great team.

The former striker also took a moment to praise his compatriot, Raphinha, who has been one of the standout players early in the season.
Romario emphasised the winger’s exceptional contributions, both for Barcelona and the Brazilian national team.
“He is one of the best players today. He is one of the best in the world. He does very well with the Barça shirt and he is also doing very well with the Brazilian shirt.
He described Raphinha as a source of pride for Brazil and expressed confidence that the young star would continue to deliver unforgettable moments on the pitch.
“Raphinha is a pride for all Brazilians, he will give us very special things in football,” he noted,
During the interview, Romario was asked about comments made by Vitor Roque, another promising Brazilian talent, who revealed that Manuel Pellegrini encouraged him to study Romario’s playing style for inspiration.

In response, Romario, in his signature playful manner, suggested that not only Roque but many players could benefit from watching his highlights. He joked that repeated viewing might eventually help them emulate some of his brilliance.
“No, it’s not just Vitor Roque, there are a lot of players who have to watch these videos to learn,” he joked.
When pressed for advice for Roque, Romario stayed true to his straightforward and humorous personality.
He suggested that no words could truly teach players what to do, but with persistence and dedication to studying his gameplay, success would eventually follow.
“It is not possible, it is useless to give advice to him or to others because they won’t learn, they have to keep watching the video always, always, always… one day they might make it,” he concluded.
