Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has provided an update on the wellbeing of star striker Robert Lewandowski.
This comes after the Pole sparked concern in Catalunya’s capital over recent days.
Lewandowski for his part watched on from the bench for the entirety of the 90 minutes this past weekend, as Barcelona put Osasuna to the sword by two goals to nil.
Post-match, it was revealed that as much came owing to a fitness complaint on the part of the former Bayern Munich man.
Lewandowski was subsequently forced to sit out group training on both Sunday and Monday, too, throwing his status to feature against minnows Guadalajara in the Copa del Rey tomorrow evening up in the air.
Speaking to the media in his pre-match press conference earlier today, the subject of the 37-year-old’s wellbeing was therefore put to the aforementioned Hansi Flick.
And Barca’s headmaster went on to explain:
“Robert Lewandowski is with us, he is training in private, but he is available for tomorrow. We will decide tomorrow. We may change some things, but we want to win.”
