Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has on Friday moved to make crystal clear his frustrations with the schedule-makers in Spanish football.

This comes as his Barca side prepare for a return to action on Saturday afternoon.

Amid what has been an absolutely hectic couple of weeks’ worth of fixtures for the Blaugrana, they will tomorrow play host to Celta Vigo, in another La Liga clash.

The fixture has been pencilled in for 4.15pm Spanish time, at Montjuïc.

And nothing short of baffled with such planning, as alluded to above, is Barcelona boss Hansi Flick

Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Friday, the German tactician did not hold back in adamantly insisting that the match should have been scheduled for a later time:

“Why can’t we play at 7:00 PM? We usually play here at that time, so why not there? Give me one reason. I want to know who is responsible for this. For me, this is shocking.”

Flick continued:

“Every federation, or every league cares about their clubs, but here they do not. We’re allowed to play, then come back at 5 or 6 in the morning. It’s unbelievable. This calendar doesn’t help us, and it doesn’t help Spanish football either.”
