According to RAC1, Barcelona earned a record-breaking €13.8 million from Sunday’s Clasico against Real Madrid, the highest figure ever made by the club on a single matchday.

This financial success shows how massive the clash was, not just on the pitch, but also at the ticket office.

Last season’s home Clasico brought in €7.6 million with 50,112 fans in attendance. This time, the figures soared past that, as high demand pushed ticket prices to new levels.

The club used a dynamic pricing system, with the last remaining Grandstand tickets going for as much as €1,250, and First Tier Goal seats priced at €745.

Remarkably, Second Tier Goal tickets were sold out by midnight on Friday, while even the restricted-view Corner seats — priced at €450 — were snapped up hours earlier.

As per Mundo Deportivo, VIP experiences were also a major factor in this record. Special packages ranged from €3,750 to €6,500, aimed at wealthy fans looking for a premium matchday experience.

With a total stadium capacity just above 50,000, general fans outnumbered season ticket holders, who accounted for 22,600 of the seats. The result was a packed stadium and a historic cash flow for the club.

Adding to the buzz was the appearance of rapper Travis Scott, whose logo featured on Barça’s shirt for this special match as part of the Spotify partnership. The artist arrived in Barcelona on Friday and held a private concert exclusively for VIPs.

Some notable guests at the event included injured Barça defender Jules Kounde, as well as club legends like Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry, Gerard Pique, Carles Puyol, and Edgar Davids.

This perfect mix of star power, historic rivalry, and smart marketing helped Barcelona not only win big on the pitch but also set a new financial benchmark off it.
