Barcelona have received a much-needed boost ahead of their upcoming fixtures against Athletic Club, as Lamine Yamal has officially returned to training with the group.
The update, revealed by Carlos Monfort in SPORT, confirms that the young winger is once again taking steps towards full recovery, although the club remains determined to handle his return with patience and caution.
The 18-year-old was seen back on the pitch during Barça’s most recent training session, marking the biggest headline of the day for Hansi Flick and his staff.
While he had been limited to gym work during the previous session, this morning saw him return to the grass alongside his teammates.
It is a welcome sign for Barcelona, who have missed the energy, movement, and attacking spark he brings to the right flank.
The club, as expected, are in no rush. The medical team and technical staff are in full agreement that Yamal’s return must be done step by step.
The winger will not be pushed into demanding sessions and will gradually adapt to the group dynamic.

Barcelona want him back, but they want him back safely, and the plan is designed to avoid any unnecessary risks.
His recovery has been handled with extreme care ever since he underwent an invasive radiofrequency procedure before the international break.
This intervention was done to reduce the discomfort he had been suffering in the pubis, a problem serious enough to force his withdrawal from the Spanish national team squad.
The recommendation following the procedure was strict – between seven and ten days of rest to allow his body to settle before any return to training.
That rest period has now passed, and Yamal has taken the first important step by joining part of the session with the group.
Even so, the coaching staff have made sure he does not force the player into action at this stage.
He has not yet pushed himself to full intensity, and the club have no intention of testing him aggressively until they are convinced the discomfort has disappeared completely.
