It is no secret that one of Barcelona’s priorities heading into the summer transfer window will be attacking reinforcements.
The club have the daunting task of finding a long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski, while the coach and the sporting director may also fancy the addition of another attacker to complete Raphinha and Lamine Yamal.
Yamal and Raphinha’s injuries, after all, have exposed Barcelona time and time again this season. Finding someone to compete with them, therefore, could be critical.
That is perhaps why Barcelona are keeping tabs on two key attackers in the form of Victor Osimhen and Omar Marmoush.
This is according to The Athletic, which suggests that both Marmoush and Osimhen have emerged as ‘low-tier’ alternatives to the club’s primary target, Julian Alvarez.

Osimhen, who made a shock €75 million move to Galatasaray last summer, remains one of Europe’s most lethal strikers.
He has racked up as many as 17 goals in all competitions this season, seven of which came in just eight matches in the UEFA Champions League. He is averaging a goal every 117 minutes this season.
Marmoush, on the other hand, has been nowhere near as consistent. His form has tapered off, with the former Stuttgart starlet finding himself falling behind in the pecking order under Pep Guardiola.
However, there are no doubts about the Egyptian’s attacking prowess and ability to not only zip past defenders but also score goals. Not to mention, he is far more versatile than Osimhen, having the ability to operate both as a winger and as a centre forward.
Barcelona, though, are yet to make any concrete attempts to sign either of the players, which suggests the club are still figuring out their finances or focusing on the Alvarez deal.
