FC Barcelona faced a humiliating defeat to Atletico Madrid the last time they took to the pitch, in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final. The Catalans beaten by a 4-0 scoreline, which means they have a momentous task awaiting them in the second leg.

The entire team played well below its expected standards in that game, and no one was spared criticism. However, it was the two fullback positions from which the most damage came for the Blaugranes, and according to SPORT, there is some concern at the club about the form of Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde.

The club does not doubt the standards of either of these two players, and their starting spots are not in danger either, because both Joao Cancelo and Gerard Martin are mainly for rotations.
