Barcelona could be without 4 key players for Valencia clash | OneFootball

The personnel problems at La Liga champions Barcelona are late this week beginning to mount.

This comes amid confirmation on the part of Mundo Deportivo that, should things not improve over the days ahead, the Blaugrana could find themselves sans the services of a number of important players for their next outing.

Already ruled out of Barca’s league clash with Valencia on September 14th are Gavi and Alejandro Balde.

Both Spaniards suffered injury setbacks in training over the last week, condemned to the treatment table at the Ciutat Esportiva as a result.

And they could soon be joined by another pair of teammates…

Frenkie de Jong, for one, was forced to depart international duty with the Netherlands prematurely this week, owing to a muscular complaint.

And Lamine Yamal is also understood to be struggling with an ongoing back problem which could yet culminate in a spell away from the pitch.

In turn, as per MD, Hansi Flick could be without four of his most trusted players when Barcelona face off with Valencia in a little over a week’s time.
