After tasting a disappointing 2-1 defeat at the hands of Real Madrid, Barcelona will look to move on and focus on their upcoming matches.
The Catalans are slated to face Elche CF later this weekend, and with no midweek matches scheduled, there is ample time for injured players to return to full fitness.
One of them could be Andreas Christensen, who had missed the Real Madrid game due to illness.
However, according to Diario SPORT, Christensen is all set to return to the Barcelona squad ahead of their league encounter against Elche this weekend.
As mentioned earlier, the Danish defender had been dealing with a stomach virus last week, which kept him out of training for several days and ultimately ruled him out of the El Clasico.
Although the centre-back managed to rejoin team training on Friday, Flick decided against including him in the matchday squad for the trip to the Santiago Bernabeu as a precaution.

Now, with more time to recover, Christensen is expected to be fully fit and available for selection this Sunday.
His return will come as a welcome boost for Flick, who continues to work on shoring up the team’s defensive structure following the setback against Real Madrid.
Christensen’s calm presence and experience at the back could prove crucial as Barcelona look to bounce back and get their La Liga campaign back on track.
However, it remains to be seen whether or not the Dane will be fit enough to start the game from scratch. Flick will hope he is, considering the fact that Barcelona have a Champions League game against Brugge to think about next week.
