Barcelona eyeing free agent move for RB Leipzig star | OneFootball

The board at La Liga giants Barcelona are keeping a watchful eye on the situation of David Raum at Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig. This comes with a view to a potential free agent deal for the defender.

Deco and the Camp Nou brass are understood to have already begun scouring the market for potential full-back reinforcements with a view to the 2027/28 campaign.

Of the opinion that Hansi Flick’s squad is still lacking out wide, Barca are hopeful of securing fresh blood, albeit with minimal financial outlay.

And with as much in mind, the aforementioned David Raum has emerged as an enticing profile in Catalunya’s capital.

Raum, a talented left-back and regular for the German national team, is best known for his talents in the attacking third, having notched 10 direct goal contributions in the Bundesliga last season.

With his contract terms at RB Leipzig due to expire next summer, according to Diario Sport, Barcelona are therefore monitoring his situation closely, keen to unite Hansi Flick with his fellow countryman courtesy of a free transfer.
