FC Barcelona continues to watch closely as their 15 players represent their respective national teams in the World Cup 2026. Some of these players are playing an important role in their respective teams as the group stage nears its conclusion, while some others have not yet stepped on the pitch.

According to a report from Diario AS, among these 15 players, there are 3 whose situation is of particular concern for the Catalan club.

One of these players is the Brazilian forward Raphinha, who helped his side to its first win in the World Cup in the match against Haiti. However, in this same match, he again suffered a physical problem, and was subbed out at the 40th minute. This injury is set to keep him out of action for quite some time, but he still remains with the national team camp, hopeful of returning to action in the knock-out rounds.

But Barcelona believe his condition is worse than the CBF’s statements show, as he has a tear in his right hamstring.  Keeping in view he has already suffered several problems in this area of the body, that caused him to miss up to three months of action with his club, the Catalans believe there is still a high risk of a relapse, especially if he is rushed back. Still, they trust Carlo Ancelotti to approach this matter with all due diligence.

The Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo is another player causing concern for the Blaugrana club. He has not even played a single minute in the World Cup as he was injured even before the competition began, and he can end up without stepping on the pitch in this tournament if Uruguay are unable to advance past the group stage, for which they need a win against Spain in their next match.

The player himself visited Madrid for treatment of his calf strain, which has remained unsuccessful so far. He is also practically ruled out for the match against Spain, and the Catalans remain worried because of his continued physical, mental, and tactical problems.

Meanwhile, one case that pleases them is that of Lamine Yamal, as Spain and Luis de la Fuente have managed his return to the pitch impeccably. He played 20 minutes against Cape Verde and 45 against Saudi Arabia, and now seems ready to play a full match against Uruguay.

Hopefully, all these players would get back into their best shapes soon, and return to Barcelona with full fitness after playing in the World Cup.
