This afternoon, the l’Antiga Fabrica Estrella Damm hosted a memorable event for FC Barcelona fans, presenting the latest features on the Barça One platform during ‘Moments One. Histories que inspiren.’

One of the standout announcements was the documentary ‘Gavi, the Return’, which will chronicle Gavi’s inspiring comeback to competitive play after a lengthy recovery from his November 2023 knee injury.

Gavi himself was present at the event, as he talked about his return while club president Joan Laporta congratulated the team and the fans for their win over Real Madrid.

Gavi on his return

Gavi, in particular, has received widespread support and adoration following his return to injury.

Although the midfielder has featured in only 15 minutes of action so far, he is soon expected to get back to full fitness and play more often.

“I feel great. From less to more. I’ve been out for a long time and my priority now is to get into the rhythm and be at the level of my teammates,” he said (h/t SPORT) at the event.

Recent reports indicate Gavi could make another appearance in the weekend clash against Espanyol, though the Spaniard is unlikely to start.

Laporta congratulates fans; Fermin on his renewal

As for Laporta, the Barcelona president was elated following the team’s victory over Real Madrid last weekend.

“I ask for a big round of applause for the players because they are the ones who have made it possible,” he said at the event.

One more player present at the event was Fermin Lopez, who spoke publicly for the first time after Barcelona announced his contract extension earlier today.

“I am very happy to continue linked to the club and I hope it will be many more years,” said Fermin, who was recently linked with a move to at least three top clubs in Europe.

But with the Spaniard penning a new contract until 2029, he is unlikely to leave Barcelona anytime soon now.
