Robert Lewandowski’s long-term future at Barcelona has become one of the more delicate topics inside the club, and the feeling around the club is that his time in Catalonia is entering its final stretch.

His contract runs only until the end of the 2025/26 season, and the expectation within the board is that he will be allowed to leave once it expires.

With Barcelona looking to refresh the squad and lower the age profile of the attack, the Polish striker is increasingly seen as a player approaching the end of his cycle.

As this situation becomes public, interest from outside Europe and within the continent has intensified.

In fact, according to reports from Fichajes, Lewandowski is now on the radar of five clubs, namely, Fenerbahce, AC Milan, Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Al Nassr.

Each of these sides sees an opportunity to sign a world-class forward without paying a transfer fee, something that naturally boosts their motivation.

Strong interest from Europe

Among all suitors, Fenerbahce appear the most aggressive. The Turkish giants are preparing to sell Youssef En-Nesyri in January and want a ready-made replacement.

They view Lewandowski as the ideal solution, especially with his experience and goal-scoring pedigree..

AC Milan are also in the mix and have been keeping close tabs on him. They want a marquee forward who can elevate their competitiveness without a major financial outlay.

Manchester United, meanwhile, have explored the possibility as part their restructuring, but the Premier League side have reportedly backed away due to his current €32 million annual salary.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid remain an option as well, with Diego Simeone appreciating his attitude, physical presence and ability to adapt to a demanding tactical system.

Then there is Saudi Arabia

Lastly, Al Nassr have also made a significant approach, placing a huge financial package on the table.

Their offer surpasses previous contracts in the region and includes an ambitious sporting project. However, Lewandowski has asked for time before responding.

His preference is still to stay in Europe, keeping the door open for all the suitors while Barcelona prepare for a future that may no longer include him.
