A new report from SPORT has revealed a major development surrounding Robert Lewandowski’s future at FC Barcelona.
With his contract running until 2026 and renewal talks dragging on with no real progress, the Polish striker has now begun to listen to offers from outside the club, preparing alternative scenarios should Barcelona decide not to extend his stay.
Both Barça and Lewandowski have maintained from the beginning that a final decision will depend on the player’s performances throughout the season.
However, the club’s silence in recent months has created a growing sense of uncertainty. As things stand, Lewandowski’s continuity looks far from guaranteed.
Wanting clarity about his long-term future, he and his entourage have started opening channels with other clubs, ensuring they have concrete options should Barcelona decide not to keep him.
According to the report, Lewandowski already has advanced proposals from Saudi Arabia, MLS and, notably, AC Milan.
Representatives of the Serie A club recently held a meeting with his camp to present their sporting project and outline how the striker would fit into their long-term plan.

The Milan proposal is said to appeal to Lewandowski both professionally and personally, though he remains adamant that no decision will be made until Barcelona officially close the door on his renewal.
For now, Barcelona have placed the entire Lewandowski discussion on hold.
The club appreciate his willingness to continue, especially as he is willing to accept a reduced role and take a significant pay cut, but the technical staff want to evaluate his consistency and physical durability before committing to another year.
As such, sporting considerations will drive the club’s decision, though financial factors cannot be ignored as well.
The market for elite strikers is almost impossible for Barcelona to access under current economic conditions, and retaining Lewandowski at no transfer cost could prove valuable.
However, if there is no internal consensus on his importance moving forward, Barcelona will have to explore a new No. 9.
