La Liga giants Barcelona will be led out for the club’s latest outing on Saturday night by a new captain.

Barca, of course, are primed to return to action in short order.

Amid ongoing efforts to maintain their advantage atop the La Liga table, Hansi Flick’s troops have made the trip to El Sadar, eyeing an eighth win from eight against Osasuna.

In the thick of what has proven a hectic schedule of four fixtures in the space of just ten days, the Blaugrana coaching staff, unsurprisingly, have opted to rotate their starting XI this evening.

The likes of Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Marc Casadó have dropped to the bench, afforded some much-needed rest from the off in Pamplona.

And, as alluded to above, owing to as much, a new member of Flick’s ranks has been handed the honour of the captain’s armband for the night.

The player in question? Midfield starlet Pedri.
