Barcelona are shining both on and off the pitch. After finishing second in the UEFA Champions League group stage, the Blaugrana are now through to the quarter-finals of the competition following a commanding victory over SL Benfica in the Round of 16.

Following their struggles in the competition in recent years, this season’s success marks a long-awaited return to the top for Barça, who have re-established themselves as a force in European football and are among the favourites to lift the trophy.

Financial boost for Barcelona

Beyond the sporting achievement, these results have also had a major financial impact. For years, Barcelona have budgeted to reach the Champions League quarter-finals, but in recent seasons, early eliminations led to losses as the club failed to meet its projected earnings.

However, this season, according to Carrusel Deportivo, Barça have already exceeded their projected Champions League revenue by €7 million, with total earnings now surpassing €100 million.
