The former La Masia product has done a sterling job since becoming the manager of Como three years ago.

Having led them to promotion to Serie A in his first year, the former Spain midfielder enjoyed a solid debut campaign in the Italian top flight in 2024/25. Building on that, he masterminded a top-four finish this season, earning them a place in the UEFA Champions League for next term.
